Friendliness and Neighborliness is Back with Spring

I love riding home on Lake Michigan or Bridge, and hearing a friendly HONK HONK from a passing car, with an arm hanging out of the window, and seeing a friendly coworker or neighbor on their way home.  Susan called me last week and asked me, "was that you riding a bike last night on Lake Michigan?" and last night I got a friendly honk from neighbor Steph.  Today a friendly cyclist passed me on the road and smiled and waved. With warmer temps, people can be human again.  It's hard to see who is who in blindingly cold weather. So if you're one of those friendly honkers, thanks for being so neighborly, keep up the good work.
