Doesn't it just seem like yesterday that it was humid and 80? This morning I had to scrape frost off the windshield of my car at 6:30am. I'm assuming that it will snow flurries by October 17, the traditional drop-dead date for the first flurries of the winter season because it's my uncle Butch's birthday and he reports every year from Frankenmuth, MI, that it flurried by his birthday. It is also my daughter Sophie's homecoming anniversary from when we adopted her and brought her to the U.S., otherwise known as Gotcha Day. I don't mind flurries, but I hate the scraping and the unpreparedness. I hate forgetting my hat or mittens, or scraper!
So be prepared, because flurries are coming soon.
