1839

Just how many 6 packs I can strap to my Transport is still a mystery.  But from ALDI's, comes this nice little Dutch lager reminiscent of Grolsch, Heineken, Amstel, etc.  But a lot cheaper! hence, from Aldi's.  Although I have to admit, the nearest Aldi's store is quite far from the house.  But if you make it to Aldi's, look for either this excellent lager, or its cousin, Klassiek Dutch lager.  Both are great, for some reason 1839 is a smidge better, and they both go for $5.99.

"An authentic taste of Holland. From a nearly three-centuries-old family-owned brewery, this lager is a European medal winner many times over. In America, it's available exclusively at ALDI."
